Interview: Jessie-Jazz Vuijk about her latest project 'She Flore'

Jessie-Jazz Vuijk (25) was elected Miss Netherlands in 2015. At the moment she is mainly involved with her own spiritual platform 'She Flore' and we spoke to her about this cool project!

You have started a new company “She Flore” yourself, what was your motivation to start She Flore?

I have been working on personal development for 6 years and that was a whole new world for me that opened up. I immediately wondered why it is not much more normal to deal with this. We can solve a lot with this, for example, our mental state, overcome fears, and solve traumas. I wanted to set up a platform in which people are encouraged to do this.

It was quite a lonely path for me because you are quickly labeled as floating or crazy so I was looking for a place where I could share this with other women. I was very much looking for balance.

It is often very black and white. Or the one extreme where you live very healthy, are 100% Vegan, and alcohol is really the devil, for example. I wanted to create a healthy balance in which people can make their own choices. Because of this, I believe that I can take people into this beautiful world much more easily. This is for everyone! She Flore has now really become a movement for women, a community where we help and support each other.

Where would you like to go, what is your goal with She Flore? <h3>

When I think about it, I see a movement of women who march arm in arm with each other and stand in their power, so that everything comes into balance. If we all started facing our own fears and mental states, we would have a whole different world.

Why do you focus specifically on women at She Flore?

She Flore is something very personal to me and I just feel now that it's something that really resonates with women. I like men and I would love to help them too, but I know more about the feminine power at this point and that has been more of my own journey.

I can also help people better because I've been on this journey myself and I don't know what it's like to be a man or how a man would experience this journey.

What can people expect from the 'Transform your life' program? What journey are you taking together?

This program lasts 6 months and I actually made this one for all the people who don't know where to start. There's so much to offer and you'll want to read so much information when you're just starting out. I wanted to make something in which you are very guided.

Now that the first group of women has completely completed the program, I can also say that they have undergone a complete transformation. They have made different choices in life.

The manifestation power just explodes! They now know so well what they want and that is exactly what I wanted to achieve with this program. I am very grateful that it has exactly the same influence on the women I hoped for.

Has there been an event that made you spiritual, when did you see the 'light'?

I believe we all have this and I believe this is really our essence. One has no consciousness and the other does. As a child I was always super sensitive, it was always more of a struggle for me because I thought there was something wrong with me. Because I was so sensitive, everything came in extra hard. I have always been very interested in horoscopes and numerology, which I have always found very interesting.

I also had a babysitter for a long time who was very involved with spirituality, so I could talk to her about that very well, that was super nice! Later it started to express itself more because I had a pretty rough childhood and was looking for a way to heal that in myself. Once you say 'yes' to embarking on that journey, so much opens up for you and you fall from one thing to another.

Does spirituality play a role in your relationship?

Does spirituality play a role in your relationship?

It has really become something of us together now. I've always known with Kaj that this was in him. He doesn't call it spiritual, but he already has a lot of core values from within himself.

He is very authentic, very honest, sincere, and sensitive. You wouldn't necessarily call him spiritual, but I saw that he was already naturally this. Once we got into a relationship, he started to delve into it more because of course I have such a passion for this.

That's how he started his own journey with his own interests and I think that's just really beautiful!

You may dine with 3 people, dead or alive. Who do you invite and why?

Pfooh! I find that very difficult! Someone I find very enchanting is Princess Diana so I would like to drink a cup of English tea with her and ask how she actually went through everything.

I think she knew a lot that a lot of people don't and the story behind the royal family seems very interesting to me. I find her a very inspiring and authentic person, as there are very few so it seems an honor to sit with her.

It also seems very special to me to sit with a real 'bad guy', just out of curiosity. Someone like Hitler, for example, seems interesting to me to find out more about why someone is capable of doing such things. I would also like to try to get to his vulnerable side and see if he might regret certain things.

The last person I'd like to have dinner with is Alicia Keys. She has so much wisdom, so much joy is so grateful, and enjoys her spiritual journey so much that I think I could talk to her very well!
