This is a perfect alternative source of protein for vegans, vegetarians or those that have sensitives or intolerances to whey, as it contains all the essential amino acids.
Pea protein is a 100% organic and plant-based protein supplement that can help you to achieve your daily protein needs and maximize muscle gains. This is a perfect alternative for vegans, vegetarians, or those that have sensitives or intolerances to whey.
Pea protein is one of very few complete plant-based protein sources. This simply means that it contains all nine essential amino acids. Studies have shown that the anabolic, or muscle building, response to pea protein after resistance training, can be the same as whey protein.

Key Health Aspects of Pea Protein
Complete Protein
What do we mean by ‘complete’? Glad you asked, it is important to understand that not all proteins are created equal. Amino acids are the building blocks of all proteins, and some of these blocks are known to be ‘essential’. This simply means the body cannot produce them and we must consume them in our diet. There are 9 essential amino acids, and many plant-based proteins are low in, or do not contain these.
Pea protein is one of the exceptions however and has all 20 amino acids. One study found that both whey and pea protein had very similar improvements on the muscle response to regular high-intensity training.
Satiating
Protein takes more energy and time to break down and digest. For this reason, it is known to be the most filling, or satiating, of any other nutrient. Eating a high-protein diet has been shown to naturally reduce daily energy intake, which may contribute to weight loss.
High Digestibility
By powdering the peas for this pure, high-quality protein, the fibre is broken down. When it comes to absorbing protein, this is a good thing. Foods high in fibre can reduce the digestibility of the protein in that food. Therefore, although food might be relatively high in protein, this may not all be available for your body to use.
This is a common issue for vegans and vegetarians, because plant foods are typically higher in fibre than animal sources. We have removed this barrier, and our pea protein will be much more digestible than other plant-based sources of protein.
