Payment options

At Plent you can pay using the following payment options:

Pay with Ideal: iDEAL is the most widely used payment method in the Netherlands. At least 60% of Dutch shoppers use it to pay for their online purchases. It’s a trusted, secure and convenient way of paying online. Customers transfer money directly from their bank account, through the online banking product they’re familiar with. Customers pay using their own online banking environment. The security of the transaction is guaranteed by the customer’s bank. Upon checking out, customers select the iDEAL payment method, followed by their bank. They’re then forwarded to the online banking environment of the bank and asked to log in.

klarna pay later

Pay later with Klarna: With Klarna: Pay later customers have 14 days to pay after they have received the product. The payment notification will be sent to the customer as soon as the product is shipped. From that moment, the customer is able to pay. The customer pays the invoice either directly via bank transfer or uses the Klarna customer portal or app to pay with one click, making future purchases even smoother. Pay later is available for customers residing in The Netherlands, Austria, Germany, and Finland.

Pay with creditcard: Credit cards are the most widely used online payment method in the world. Customers receive a line of credit and pay back the amount they spent in one go, generally at the end of the month. Mollie (our payment service provider) supports all the world’s leading credit card brands. Currently they support Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cartes Bancaires and CartaSi. It’s very easy for customers to pay with their credit card. All that’s required of the customer is that they fill in their card details and authorise the payment.

Pay with PayPal: PayPal is the most used online wallet in the world, with over 184 million active users. Customers connect their credit card or bank account to their PayPal account, or add credit to their account. When using PayPal to pay for a purchase, the customer logs in and authorises the payment with just their e-mail address and PayPal password. No further personal and financial details need to be shared with the website, which makes PayPal very safe. Payments can also be settled through smartphone or tablet, which allows customers to pay anywhere with ease.

Betalen met Bancontact: Bancontact is the Belgian market leader when it comes to electronic payments. The consumer holds a physical card which is linked to a Belgian bank account. Payments made through Bancontact are guaranteed and immediately confirmed. This means that the payment is final once it’s been made and can’t be reversed by the consumer. On top of that, payments with Bancontact are always protected by 3D-secure technology.

Bank transfer

Pay by bank transfer: With SEPA, bank transfers can be done from any European checking account to any other European checking account. Paying by bank transfer is a very familiar and safe way for customers to pay online. They use their own trusted online banking environment to transfer money. When customers choose to pay through SEPA bank transfer, they receive the payment details directly on their screen or through an e-mail. Customers then log in to their own online banking environment and transfer the payment from there, when it’s convenient for them. Instead of filling out the details by hand, we offer QR-codes that fill out all the required bank details to make paying even easier.

Pay with Belfius: Belfius is one of Belgium’s biggest banks and provides its customers with its own online payment method. Customers with a Belfius bank account can use this payment method to transfer payments directly from Belfius’ online banking environment or through the bank’s smartphone app. When customers choose to pay using the Belfius Pay Button payment method, they can pay through the smartphone app or through the online banking environment Belfius Direct Net. If the app is chosen, customers scan a QR-code and authorise the payment through the app, where payment details are already filled in. When using Belfius Direct Net customers use their card reader to confirm the payment.

sofort banking

Pay with Sofort: SOFORT Banking is a European-wide payment method which allows shoppers to pay for their purchases or make donations without having to create an account. Customers use their personal online banking credentials to log in and transfer money from their bank account. SOFORT Banking has a TÜV certificate which guarantees the safety of using it as a payment method. SOFORT Banking is available in Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Poland. It works with most consumer banks from these countries. When customers choose to pay through SOFORT Banking, they are redirected to SOFORT Banking’s online banking environment. Here they choose their country and bank. They log in with their own online banking credentials and are shown their accounts.

Pay with KBC/CBC: The KBC/CBC Payment Button is an online payment method for customers of the KBC and CBC, Belgium’s largest consumer banks. KBC is the Flanders’ branch while CBC services Wallonia. Both branches offer their customers a payment button with which online payments can be transferred quickly and easily. When customers choose to pay using the KBC/CBC Payment Button, first they select either KBC or CBC. Customers are then forwarded to their own, familiar online banking environment, where the payment details are already filled in. The customer can choose between authorising the payment either through using a card reader or by sending the payment to the smartphone app by scanning a QR code. Once authorised, payment is guaranteed.
