Coconut oil

Coconut oil is the oil that is extracted from the edible, fleshy "meat" of a coconut, which is actually the "core" of the coconut. This oil is extracted in different ways. That's why you can find different types of coconut oil that you can buy, including refined and unrefined.

At room temperature, coconut oil is usually solid, because the melting point is 76 degrees F. It is completely stable, making it a great fat for cooking or using for skin care.
Coconut oil is a saturated fatty acid with medium chains, which means that the fatty acid chains are between 6-12 carbon atoms long. Almost all other natural unsaturated and saturated fats that we consume are fatty acids with long chains. Coconut oil's unique medium-chain fatty acid composition is what distinguishes it as a nutritional powerhouse with properties that can not be compared with any other fat we consume.
